When the team at J.J's House Of Wheels bring a new product into our line up we need to know that it is going to perform to a high standard in all weather conditions before we are confident that it will meet the requirements of our authorised dealers and their customers... In short, if it isn't up to standard, we won't sell it!
For this reason, J.J's House Of Wheels' product development team got together with professional driver training company - 5th Gear Motoring, for a full day of rigorous testing on both public roads and a closed circuit against an established, popular brand of tyre.
5th Gear put the Sunitrac Tyres through their paces in the wet and dry, most of the time pushing right to the limit while recording all data via computers and GPS data logging equipment mounted in the cars.
"From the data collected, the Sunitrac tyres performed very well. Overall the Sunitrac Focus tyres kept up well in most tests, and even out-performed the control tyre on the wet skid pan. The general characteristics of the Sunitrac tyres were great, they were easy to read and constant in their behaviour and feedback"
